Large Swamp Kauri Salad bowl - NZ$400.00

Turned from a stunning piece of Swamp Kauri recovered from a friend's farm outside Huntley in the Waikato, this piece has the typical green and yellow colours from Swamp Kauri found in that area of New Zealand. 

The bowl has an undercut and good curve to the sides so that salad will roll and fall back into the bowl when dished up.

Some stunning details in the centre and bottom of this piece that add that something special.

Finished in food safe 'La Popote', a mixture of organic bee's wax and grape seed oil.
