Taught as the final subject at Ecole Escoulen these take all the skills you have been taught as a wood turner to successfully complete. Made from a single piece of wood, these pieces are carefully designed to ensure an aesthetically pleasing sculpture and flow and then painstakingly and carefully turned. Down to a consistent 2mm at their thinnest these literally tremble in their glass tubes at the slightest movement, thus their French name – Trembleur.
