“Kaos” Sculpture – NZ$1,200-00
Created as an original art piece for the final exam at Ecoule Escoulen, the comet of Kaos was turned from Maple, hollowed, carved, textured and airbrushed.
On a steel rod that allows the comet to sway as if in flight, the stand is steel covered in sand blasted Sequoia / Redwood.

The creation of Kaos
Two large pieces of laminated French Maple were shaped, hollowed from both sides, carved, steamed, textured, sandblasted and airbrushed to create “Kaos”. Clicking on the images below will reveal bigger images.
