Leon’s Fish Sculpture

“Leon’s Fish” – NZ$389.00

Turned and sculpted from French Maple, carved and sculpted and painted with acrylic using the dry-brushed acrylic technique with gold paste wax.

The stand is insulated wire in green to represent water grass and the base is sand blasted Sequoia Red Wood. The thin wire stand allows the fish to gently move as if swimming.  

First turned as a vase, then a slice is cut from the middle, the two pieces are then re-assembled and sculpting begins.
